Privacy Policy

Leekly Garden Tools is made by Leekly and currently shares its account system and data storage with OpenBasket (openbasket.leekly.app), another Leekly app.

Signing in with Google, Apple, or email uses the same account as OpenBasket. Creating an account in Garden Tools also creates an OpenBasket profile. That does not grant access to OpenBasket, which is invite-only.

Your photos, uploads, and identification history are stored in that shared backend. Garden uploads you made in OpenBasket are visible in Garden Tools, and uploads you make here are visible in OpenBasket.

Account changes apply to both apps. A password reset works for both. Deleting your account deletes it for both.

We plan to separate the systems later. We will update this policy if that happens.

When you identify a plant, bug, disease, or crop, we send the photo to Google's Gemini API so it can suggest a name. We store the photo and the result with your account so you can see them later. We don't sell that data.

Garden Tools uses OpenBasket's account system, so admin roles carry over: an OpenBasket admin is also an admin in Garden Tools. Garden Tools' admin pages only cover AI settings and AI testing. They don't show other people's photos or identification history.
